Pastor Frank Howard, Sr.

Pastor HowardElder Frank Howard Sr. is a long time citizen of Clarksdale, Mississippi. He is well known for the services he has rendered and presently renders to this community. He served as a teacher of the life sciences at Coahoma Community College and Agricultural High School, retiring in 1990. He has served as Trustee of the Northwest Regional Medical Center. He is a building contractor and real estate investor in Clarksdale and surrounding areas.

Elder Howard received his high school diploma from W.A. Higgins High School, his Associate of Arts Degree from Coahoma Community College, his Bachelor of Science Degree from Alcorn State University and his Masters of Arts in Teaching from Mississippi State University. He has done further study at the University of Mississippi, Texas Technological University and Christian Brothers College.

Elder Howard is the pastor of St. Luke Church of God in Christ in Moorhead, Mississippi. He is the Superintendent of the Moorhead District of the Northern Mississippi Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. He serves his denomination in other capacities which include: Administrative Assistant to the Jurisdictional Bishop, Dean and Instructor of the Jurisdictional System of Bible Studies and Secretary of the Jurisdiction’s Trustee Board.

Elder Frank Howard and his wife Lela, are the parents of seven children (one deceased) and grandparents of ten.
